Founder’s Profile

Jane Hartman Frankel is the founder of The Art of Performance LLC, which is an organizational design and development firm, focused on business results and growth through improvements in customer service, strategic planning, and employee development.  As a sole proprietor, Jane brings together subject matter experts to contribute to projects, based on clients’ needs to improve specific areas of their businesses, leading to high-performance and predictable business results

Prior to founding The Art of Performance, Frankel was a Director of Corporate Business Development, Organizational Design, Customer Service, and Education at Vertex Inc., a tax research and compliance company.   All of these roles were focused on the growth of the company, with continuing expansion of revenue generating services and partnerships.  Recognized as a business change expert, Jane was assigned to facilitate this expansion on multiple occasions, supervising over 100 employees, external alliances, and resulting in the anticipated performance goals being achieved.

Jane has facilitated strategic alliances with partners including Arthur Anderson, E&Y, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Pitney Bowes, EDS, Tax Compliance, Inc., and Microsoft.  These alliances were focused on understanding partner’s components of value and then creating new markets, new products, and new customers for significant revenue generation.  She has worked in the business change and innovation area for 20 years, developing and transforming businesses for outstanding performance through alignment of customers’ needs, employee skills, and workflow capabilities.
